And if you don't get a chance to catch their specifically Christmas offering, keep an eye out for new shows in the new year. These sky-high, theatrical experiences are like nothing else you'll experience in London ever! And if you want to book a ticket along with a night's stay in the hotel, book here.
at The Old Vic
The smash hit production of Dickens’ most famous and much-loved classic returns to The Old Vic. Directed by artistic director Matthew Warchus, and with Paterson Joseph (of Peep Show fame) playing Scrooge, this is perfect traditional Christmas fare. But don't read "traditional" as "stuffy". This is a vibrant staging that played to rave reviews and sold-out crowds in 2017, returned to much adoration in 2018 and is making its third rounds this Christmas.
"Not even Scrooge himself could dislike this" (The Telegraph) and "magical!" (Time Out).
3 years on the trot? It must be good. If you haven't caught it yet, don't let this Christmas season go by without a visit.
at Battersea Arts Centre
Sleeping Trees are a comedy trio to rule them all. And this is their third highly successful, original pantomime: It started with Cinderella and the Beanstalk, then came Scrooge and the Seven Dwarves... you get the theme. Every year is a different spectacular mash-up of Panto/festive stories, delivered with humour akin to Monty Python and the Naked Gun movies of the 90s.
As Goldilocks flees from the three bears into the deep, dark wood, she stumbles down a rabbit hole to escape and finds herself in Wonderland! Teaming up with The Three Musketeers and a whole host of fairy tale favourites, can Goldilocks rescue Wonderland and live happily ever after before it’s too late?
It's already been given 5 stars by Broadway World and described as "a must-see in the plethora of pantos that London has to offer." Don't be a fool - book now!
